Why you need it

7 out of 10 women who pump experience pain, discomfort and damage, and 8 out of 10 say pumping makes them feel like a cow. The good news? You don’t have to put up with pain to provide milk for your baby, and you also don’t have to put up with the pain of ruined shirts (thanks leaky boobs), wasted milk (noooo!) and chapped nipples (ouch).

You'll already have your Milkdrop pump and cushions to make sure you're as comfy as possible, but here are some extras that can make the first few weeks of pumping a little better:

  • You don’t know despair until you’ve wasted precious milk, which is where our milk collectors come in. If you’re single pumping, use one on your opposite breast to catch letdown, or wear them under your shirt to collect any milk during the day.
  • Leakage is a bummer, especially when you’re wearing your favourite shirt. Our reusable breast pads soak up any dribbles, and are made from the softest bamboo.
  • This ain’t no ordinary lanolin. It’s literally the best lanolin grade on the market, with no pesticides, additives and it’s actually safe for baby to ingest (not like the cosmetic grade stuff, which is nowhere near as pure).

I didnt know how much I needed these until I had them. I was doing ok with pumping and feeding, my nipples were ok and not damaged, but I was definitely sore for a while and a little bruised after pumping. First go with the Milkdrop cushions and it was like a completely different experience. Same or more milk expressed, and I wasnt in pain at all. Highly recommend even if you think youre doing well with your pumping, and definitely if youre having any issues.

Wildly different pumping experience

These are AMAZING! I got them for my newborn and I wish they existed when I had my first. The pumping experience is so different. The cushions are so incredible soft, by comparison pumping seems cruel without them. Incredible innovation with huge impact and also customer service has been so helpful with the owner personally connecting and wanting to ensure I had the exact cushions I needed for a great experience.
